Tofu Pancakes are a must-have in our house every Saturday

We love pancakes in our home, so this has become a firm family treat on a Sunday. Try it out for yourself and see if you agree.

The ingredients

• 150g tofu
• 1 egg white
• 50g strong flour
• 1g baking powder
• vanilla essence
• sugar


  1. In a bowl whisk the tofu until smooth. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until they form stiff peaks.
  2. Add the flour and baking powder to the tofu, then whisk in the sugar to taste. Next add the vanilla essence, then fold in the egg white.
  3. Pour the batter into a non-stick frying pan, cover with a lid and cook over a medium to low heat.
